Brand Designer / Art Director - Pitch, Brand Kit , Presentation
Overview
For designers with deep, opinionated taste in presentation design. You've built world-class decks and documents natively in PowerPoint for consulting, banking, financial services, agencies, and enterprises.
A specialist, not an occasional deck-maker. You have mastery of presentation styles and true craft in communication design — infographics, imagery, layout, typography. You're an analytical storyteller both in your output and in the briefs and direction you write. You sweat detail and know the technical side of PowerPoint and document design.
What you'll do
Build decks from scratch to a brief, in Figma or natively in PowerPoint.
Review and critique existing decks, and show how to make them better.
Write creative briefs to generate presentations with AI models, and critique the results across iterations.
Required skills
5+ years of professional presentation / office-document design.
A true SME in the craft — this is not for someone who designs decks occasionally.
Experience giving structured design feedback and creative direction.
Experience structuring briefs; strategic thinking about visual storytelling and clarity.
PowerPoint specifically — Figma / Canva / Google Slides do not substitute.
How hiring works:

2. Complete a timed assessment (~45 min) built to gauge your judgment, quality bar, and craft.
3. Pass, and you get an offer to join an active project, plus onboarding (MFA, SOW, ID/background check).

2Skills testA short *PAID* assessment of your craft. You'll be asked to review a brief and design 2-3 slides. All submissions that we feel demonstrate a good faith effort will be paid $200 USD.*
* This is a one time payment made to you in the pay period following that in which it was submitted. Taste operates on a semi-monthly payment cycle. Work completed between the 1st and 15th of each month will be paid by the last day of that month. Work completed between the 16th and the last day of the month will be paid by the 15th of the following month. If a scheduled payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday, payment will be made on the next business day.
We will reach out to you directly within 15 days of test receipt to collect payment info and confirm payment scheduled date.
Taste does not require an invoice to process payment, although you may submit one for your own records. Payment details may include standard banking information or a Wise tag, where applicable. Payments are made via bank transfer, and Taste can accommodate most currencies.
